Responsibilities
- Design and execute test scenarios for various components of ASRS product
- Design and execute integration tests among various components
- Work closely with the product manager to understand customer workflows and proactively come up with test plans to ensure robustness of customer operations
- Report bugs to the software engineering team and follow up on bug fixes
- Work with field engineers to enable them to deploy the product at customer sites
- Be the interface between field engineers and software engineering team if any quality issues are found at customer sites
Requirements
Minimum skills:
- Background in robotics quality assurance
- Basic knowledge of ROS
- Basic skills for QA testing of web applications
- Experience in testing large scale heterogeneous systems with many components
- Ability to break down a problem into subproblems and prioritize them
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in using a Linux/Unix environment
Preferred skills:
- Able to pick up new technologies on the fly
- Basic familiarity with networking concepts is a plus
- Able to plan and execute tests independently given high-level objectives from product team
- Good communication skills, able to present their work to non-technical audiences
- Japanese communication skills are a plus
